Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients

½ cup softened butter

½ cup virgin coconut oil

½ cup sugar

1 cup firmly packed brown sugar

½ teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon baking soda

2 eggs

1½ teaspoons vanilla extract

1½ cups flour

3 cups old fashioned oats

1 cup raisins

Directions

1Cream butter, shortening, sugar and brown sugar. Add salt and baking soda and cream. Add eggs and vanilla and cream. Add flour and mix. Add oats and mix. Add raisins and mix.

2Spoon golf-ball-sized pieces of dough onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 10-12 minutes. The cooking time depends on the size of the cookie and the oven. The tops of the cookies should be slightly browned.
